SHANGHAI WORLD EXPO 2010 - A View of Belgium Medley
This is the 2D version.
This is a 4-minutes montage of the footage of the 14 individual stereoscopic 3D films that we shot for the "virtual tunnel" in the Belgian pavilion at Shanghai World Expo 2010.
The films were shown on 14 individual 73-inch Mitsubishi DLP screens with active glasses.
A special server and custom written software ensured the seamless synchronisation from screen to screen.
Each film features a specific city or town in Belgium.
The bowler hat characters are a nod to René Magritte's surrealistic paintings.
